Giles,

Looking at the plot, am I correct in understanding that there's no VTEC engagement here? Or, is that what's happening at 4500 RPM?
Charlie, you beat me to it.....we are thinking the same thing....I don't see anything that indicates Vtec engagement...

Nah I think VTEC kicks in around 4600 or 4750, you can see the slight jump there. It's all about tuning, good job. Car must pull like crazy, what's the air/fuel plot look like?

Pinky, you get basically the same numbers with a Comptech SC without Aftercooler. But for some folks, it's about taking a different path.

I saw that, but thought it was too smooth, I was comparing it to other plots I've seen with bumps in the power curve....Giles, you are more than a tuner.....you are an artist!

Hi Dan!

Vtec is engaged at 4500 right now.

I have no idea how the car pulls! It's basically been on the dyno since the engine was finished!

I'll be driving the car for the first time tomorrow Road Tuning

Giles is making some comparison plots... so hold your horses!

I've always found that offensive. Those boat guys... Waste a perfectly wonderful bottle o' bubbly on the hull of the ship.

Drink up! That's all I can say, boys! AFIK, you're making NA history.

I'm sure Giles knows his stuff. Tuning for low cam and then high you can see where your optimum crossover point is and set engagement for a nice transition. Not sure if that's what's been done though. All I know is that the plot looks great and I can't wait to see more.

We have not cracked the bottle as Scott was not around that first night, but during the maiden zero mile voyage from my house to Giles's, Glenn did manage to run a red light, right in front of the police station. Might have been nervous...maybe.
