Default Ground Control/Ap1 Shocks

hey hows it going guys. ive owned my s2000 for a little over a year now and purchased it with ground control adjustable springs over the stock ap1 shocks. the car was always super low even at the highest adjustment and cant determine the problem here. i provided a pic to show how low it is at the highest adjustment, any lower would be rediculous in my opinion and something just isnt right. i discussed the option of blown shocks to my father but he replied the shock doesnt determine the height at all, it all depends on the spring. could the springs be bad? they only have 20K+ miles on them. i dont see how springs could go bad though. could something be installed improperly? the car rides alright, not bouncy and havent noticed any leaks so maybe not the shocks. if any has experienced this before or has any ideas what could be wrong please let me know, thanks.

by the way, i havent mentioned this is a problem only in the rear suspension. the fronts are fine, as you can see theyre higher than the rear and have room to go higher. could it possibly be ground controls made for koni's?

they could be in backwards as normally it would be the other way around, it's been a few years since i pulled my springs, so not sure if you could reverse them.

You could have the collars upside down . Did you have to cut the spring perch off to install ?

backwards/upside down seems logical i suppose. the gold ring adjusment reads "ground control <down up>" rightside up though. i didnt do the install so i didnt cut anything. but when i purchased the car, i did have to swap a front spring to the rear, and rear spring to the front due to a careless part out. is there like a stopper on one side of the collar that would make it sit up higher if installed properly, and drop below where it should sit if installed upside down? im going to take a closer look this weekend when i have the time.

I would have to say it looks upside down .. When you swap it you will have to unscrew the collar and flip it so the righting will be correct again and the spring will seat right .
