Default Help Installing a Race Header...

I picked up a race header a month back and just havent had the time nor the space to do the project...I live in Back Bay ...And I dont want to drive all the way back home to PA (tools/jacks are) to do the project.

I had done a RH install on my rsx and remember it was so tight to work with behind the engine...but with the S...It looks a lot easier. Beers and dinner on me

If someone can help it would be much appriciated...

To make your life a lot easier try using a lift. It's tighter than you may think.

If you still need this done and you're free on the 19th we can do it at my cookout.

Hey, not to hijack this but do you mind if I install something on the 19th? Just an oil sandwich plate for my oil pressure gauge. Shouldn't take long and it'll be easier to do on the lift, then run the car to check for leaks. From the sensor and plate.

Sure. It'd be kinda weird to not do something tech related at one of these cookouts.

If no one has anything else, maybe I should swap my axle cups too.

Shawn came by last night and we installed it. Very easy install but the rusted bolts gave us some issues. I few bandaids, a lot of cussing, and 3 hours later we were sucessful. I believe it was a dc sports header so there was no need to jack up the engine to get it installed.
Thanks for the beer shawn! Damn your car is loud. Lol

You have air tools at your house?

I actually picked up an electric impact, works pretty well and I don't have to have a compressor. Win/win for me
