Which one are you getting Erick?
I've been eying a Millermatic 180 230v MIG welder with gas. I think that'll cover just about everything I'll be doing. If a deal comes by, I'd settle on something else, but I'm certain I want MIG with gas shielding.

I'm always welding stuff back together. I'm thinking of selling the arc welder though. I never weld anything that heavy.

Nice equipment. Costs about $800 bucks though. A lincoln won't do it for you?

In my giant dream garage plan, I'd have both a MIG and an ARC/TIG welder. A stick welder comes in real handy for making fixtures that you don't have to worry about falling apart while you're welding.

Next time you are over, take a look at mine. I'll sell it cheap. You need to get wired for it though. You can't just plug it into the wall outlet.

It probably would. Some things I tend to go overkill with. Air tools are a good example of this for me (I have nothing but tool truck brands). Other things, I'll buy the cheapest thing I can... like the 1/2" breaker bar I recently bought at harbor freight for $10 or so.

Someday... but I'll buy a MIG welder first, it's easier and more flexible than a TIG.
