I am looking for a cheap one too but there isnt much at that price.

Refurbed on Amazon

If you want something that isnt going to crap out within a year stay away from brands you havent heard of, they almost always suck. And Polaroid is god awful.

JT, we bought a 13" when we did the kitchen. We found one for just over $200.00 and the picture was lousy.

We ended up spending closer to $400.00 for a Sharp. Much better quality.

By now, even those should have come down in price.

Sometimes, you get what you pay for.

Still - its not a big difference when you're talking about a 13" tv.

It is not a big difference but there is a visible difference. 420 lines vs 720 lines is a huge difference and very visible. Than again I have an Eagle eye my vision is better than most so i notice little things easily. The other thing people should know is that if you have an HDTV you will get a better picture set at 720p vs 1080i. 720 lines is better than 540 which is what your seeing if your watching 1081i

Go Here

for the fun learning reason why.

Wouldn't an lcd with 1080 lines be naturally progressive anyway?

it would be if it were a 1080P most are 1080I 1080P is just starting to become affordable and there will be no network broadcast in 1080P for years to come just blu-ray etc
