it is the BEST wheel cleaner i've ever used

not too sure why you are against "touching" your wheels while cleaning them but yes this will work -

spray on wait 30 seconds and hose off.

at full strength i would wear a respirator
Not so much "against" it but what's the point on spending $$ on wheel cleaner if
after you put it on and hose it off, there's still crap on the wheels?

If I have to wipe them anyway I'll just stick to my method.

The point is it's a lot stronger and makes cleaning the crap off the wheels easier.

ah ok, gotcha.

The leftover soap and a different microfiber glove do the trick for me.

Because if there was an easier way, I'm all for that.

I can drive a full month before the wheels get what I'll call dirty and then regular wash takes them off easy.

When I went to the Dragon and track days I had to bust my ass to get the dust off with some elbow grease even with a good wheel cleaner. I think the soap and a sponge would laugh at me to remove track dust.

Erick said the point is that it makes getting the crap off the wheels easier.

It's easy enough for me with a sponge and soap, even after the Dragon.

I must not have been driving hard enough.

But I could be convinced otherwise. I'd have to see a demonstration to see how much easier it is.
