Rats. I just remodeled my bathroom. I probably won't stay in this house for more than 2-3 years, but it was sort of necessary. The wax donut under the bowl was leaking, probably for many years. I went to just replace the donut, but I found the floor was rotted through. I'm lucky I didn't find myself sitting in the basement holding a copy of the Sunday paper. I had to rip up the vinyl floor and replace the subfloor. Then I put down tile instead of vinyl. While the baseboards were off I painted. What was going to be a simple "fix the leak" turned into much more. But I'm happy with the result and it's much safer now.

Well, you still have to keep a house maintained....if you didn't put in a marble tub and fancy tile, you should be OK.

Glad you didn't end up in the basement.

I kept it simple and used neutral colors. I actually enjoy a nice home project now and then.

A couple times a week about 20 wild turkeys roam through our yard.

Just got done siding the house and re-doing the porch. Super nice now and can be used year round. Only thing is now the future wife wants to put a 2nd story on the house. BUT I JUST RE-ROOFED!!! I guess there is somehow a way to JACK UP the roof and re-use it! So maybe we aren't to bad off.

Now I guess eventually I will need to get an architect to do the plans up for the whole thing. Anybody know of one?

where's Glenn
