Thumbs up Hood Shocks

Hey Everyone,

I really like those hood shocks that some of you have. I'd like a set, but not sure what brand to go with, but I know I want them to mount to the existing OEM bolt locations. Any info would be great!

Thanks,

Josh

I have the NRG carbon fiber hood dampers and they make the hood sit almost 90 degrees upward. it makes filling the oil alot easier.

They do look great, I may have to get a set sometime. I don't think green will look right with blue.

Twisted usually has them in stock or has provided them to the NE folks. PM him.

I'm going to move my stock prop rod over to the left side. This makes the hood stand up higher but without buying these shocks. I hate how the stock location keeps the hood so low, it's not high enough to do anything other than change the air filter and check fluid levels.

I told myself I wont buy anything else for the S until spring. Heating bill + snowmobile modifications are needed. Maybe shocks in the spring?
