Default How to convert pics?

I took a bunch of pics and would like to resize them or convert them to jpeg so i can post them on the forum and send them by e-mail. My windows photo program does not seem to have a feature to do that. Anyone have any ideas how to do it? Do I need to get some different software?

are you using a free picture host such as photobucket? if so it will re-size them

xp has a great easy tool too but you're running Vista and I know nothing about

just read that Vista has the same tool already built in- so it will reduce them into an e-mailed sized photo and you can click and drag the file (seems like a pia)

or you can download this free program

I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager. Open your picture with that and go to Picture -> Resize and choose the new size you'd like.

Wendy, I just got started with that program too. I find photobucket easier for some things, (posting pics directly to the web site) but Picasa is pretty neat too.

Can you keep some albums private and others public? I had not checked that out.
