Default i need your help with this issue

well there's this girl in my class and her breath smells worse than S***. it's like she eats S*** before she goes to bed and then wakes up and doesnt brush her teeth to make the smell more potent.
this is the WORST breath i have ever smelled!
so this is how the story started:

first day of class i walk in and i see this girl, she was in my other class, so i kinda of know her. i get in the class and she says hi right after i walk in the door so i sit behind her. she turns around to ask me how my winter break was, and once she opened her mouth , her bad breath filled the air, i felt like i was gonna throw up! but luckly the teacher came in and she had to stfu.

so next class, i say maybe it was the first day and she didnt have time to brush her teeth, and i sit two seats behind her just in case. she turns around to talk to me and OMFG , that smell made me almost .

so the class after i that two seats behind her and a row over, and when she says hi i could still smell her bad breath but it wasnt too bad as i was far away.

so it all went fine until last class where the professor assign us a group project and assigned me her group , so i had to sit next to her, and when she opened her mouth and talked i was ready to . and we have to work in groups for about a month so what i've tried to do to stop this issue:
1. i put the laptop in front of me and looked into it when she's talking in the group and the smell still penetrated the computer.
2. i've tried looking away when she talked pretending to look at the clock, etc but it didnt work
3. i've tried giving her a piece of gum, by taking one myself and asking everyone in the group if they wanted one and she said no thank you

i dont know what else to do and need your help!!!!

Get a mutual female friend/acquaintance to tell her outright the next time they have a moment aside. She won't take it personally or be as embarrassed that way. If it's as bad as you say, everyone must notice. Someone should say something to her, but try to make it as painless as possible.

There's not much you can do about halitosis short of asking her to start brushing, flossing, and potentially getting a deep cleaning from her local dentist.

is she hawt??

why not just be honest with her - ask her if she has any dental problems which might cause bad breath and explain that you enjoy talking to her BUT you are very sensitive to smells

you can always do the Silence of the Lambs thing when they looks at the dead body ie just rub some vicks vapor rub under your nose

you can say you have a bad cold - wipe it off after class
