Interested in Professional Car Audio Tuning?
Glad your happy Steve with the tuning job Keven did. I know I'm one happy guy myself with the work he did getting my setup to be all that it could be. Keven does a great job getting the most he can out of the equipment the customer has.
If interested in spending 3-4 hours some Saturday to have Keven tune your system, just let me know some dates your available. I think the price is around $65 / Hr. The tuning is actually done at a car audio shop south of Boston that has all the right equipment.
The tuning comes out best if you have a Parametric EQ in your head unit and have a Time Delay function as well. If you don't have some kind of EQ in your HU or as an outboard piece, you probably won't get the benefit you hoped from a tuning.
The only thing you need to bring is the section of the manual that describes all the sound shaping functions available on your HU and how to use them. You'll also want to bring you favorite CD so you can A/B the before and after effects of the tuning. It wouldn't hurt to think about what you want the system to really do for you. He'll ask so just be prepared. For example, I told him I wanted the music to bring tears to my eyes and he did.
Maybe it was sweat not tears as it was a steaming hot day but hey I got some kind of water goin'.
Because of the time involved, Keven can really only do one car (maybe two tops) on a Saturday.
I'm just an free introduction service here. The only thing I get out of this is the fun of learning how he tunes and free reference CDs that he let's me dup while I'm there.
