Sounds fishy.
It probably just calculated the average rate of acceleration and applied it to a 1/4 mile distance. I'm guessing that increasing aerodynamic drag is nowhere in that calculation. So... if you ran the 1/4 mile in a vacuum, these numbers are probably fairly accurate.

"pure" nitrous would not have the oxygen element in it and would there for not support combustion

ie: not stock
