Default It's contagious... I got a ticket today!

Not in the S, in my Passat. I was going 80+ on 295 south in the middle lane and all of the sudden my Valentine 1 goes off and the arrows are pointing up and sideways and I'm like "WHAT THE ..." But I too busy looking for what caused it and didn't slow down and next thing I know I notice the trooper pulling out of the ride side.

I'm guessing the guy saw me coming a mile away and didn't hit me with the radar gun till I came close enough. My fault for not paying attention cause I should have seen him. Didn't help it was raining.

I was ticketed 75 in a 65, so I'm out $75 bucks plus whatever my insurance will nail me for in the future.

a lousy 10 mph. Gotta love it. Sorry to hear this Julius. I'll be sure to have a couple of beers on hand for you and our buddy from Stoughton.

That sucks!
And for only 10 MPH over.

Where I've lived in the past, you only get points if it's +15.
(<- new to NE)
Is that not how it is in NE?

I drive between 10 to 14 over the limit all the time (& past troopers )...
...and that's usually just to keep up with traffic.

I guess I've been lucky :knocksonwood:

Sorry about the ticket.

Getting a tix for doing 15 over on a wide open highway at night?!
I have seen trucks drive faster than that on the right lane.

Appeal that crap. Doing "10" over on a highway is not going to stick, esp. if you have a good driving record.
