Looks like they could be in for another long season, I think lifetime they are 1-7 in Oakland, and the following game has them playing the Pats.

Last night's game was amazing. The Sox's first inning had me worried. Same old story of stranding runners and squandering opportunities. That kind of last inning come from behind win in a close game is the type of win the Yankees are used to pulling on the Sox season in and season out. Nice to see it go the other way. I think pitching was the big story last night. The question is, can the Sox keep it up, and will Rivera continue to miss the strike zone.

They need to get some targets for Bledsoe and a line that can block for him. Man...gone are days of the K-gun offense.

After the Yanks/Sox have split the first 2 I feeel better about concentrating on football today.
