i will say i along with many others wouldn't vote for a presidential candidate who is not present or who does not attend any functions or speak his mind or help anyone. Again this isn

Bill i think you misunderstood my post.

let's not discuss the money issue again - some will support the club no matter what and others will choose not to (just like before)

nes2ko is Glenn's / you / jeff's / Rex's and other's club and that's fine!

and i do understand the idea of insurance but then there will be many more questions such as what if i go on Jeff's drive but don't support nes2ko - does that mean people who do not pay can not attend

this will open up a whole lot of questions

as for the crossroads

 

Thanks guys for presenting different views on this, and yes Jeff this whole deal is very confusing to me and Im sure many others. I look forward to more constructive post in this thread before making any decisions on what I personally want to support.

I will say however and I may get flamed for this but:

I feel that a mod should be active on the forum,This is after all the S2KI forum. Glenn for whatever reason has not been very active at all in the year of 2008 he has posted exactly 22 total post, most of which are promoting the Nor'easter and the holiday party which as mentioned above are NES2KO events.


Glenn if you do read this I have absolutly no animosity towards you what so ever. I met you one time and have to say i fully enjoyed our conversation. Heck I hope to have many more with you.

I would just like to see someone in a position of Mod of the NE section which is basically top of the s2ki forum since this forum is s2ki and not Nes2ko be more active in this forum.

Whatever happens with NES2KO is a whole different topic to me and to be honest im still confused about the whole thing. I thought we were all S2KI as this is the forum we all play in everyday.

One last thing on CO's then I'm out of here because this Club thing is not anything for me to be involved in.

In all of my past experience here and with other forums I have seen new COs/Mods fall into 2 categories. Those who got elected into the position by some kind of sudden vote, or, those who just took upon the role, then one day everybody assigned them the title because they had already been doing the job.

The latter of the 2 kinds are the COs that bring about the most good, the former are often flashes in the pan, and then in the periods where they are doing little to nothing, all sorts of issues arrise until from out of nowhere someone comes forwards, adopts the role and just starts doing the job.

 

In fact I'm about ready to hand in my Mod title because where I mod is just too painful. Because of that I spend less and less time there, thus I'm not doing my job justice and I see that as unfair to those posting there on a regular basis.
