I use ketchup, but only on certain things Kids, like Erick and my grandkids like ketchup on hot dogs. I never put it on a hot dog, or hamburger, or eggs. I use it on fries, meat pie, beans, and a few other things.

One time I made a fresh turkey pie with the left over Thanksgiving turkey. Rick put ketchup on that and I almost called a divorce lawyer.

So, what foods are better with ketchup?

Ketchup is best source of lycopene in our part of the world.

and a burger but with mustrad and relish

 

fries, scrambled eggs, roasted potatoes (sometimes), hamburgers and hotdogs

 

I'm with Dave, also been known to put some on the old stand by Mac & Cheese.

If it doesn't come served with it, I almost never put ketchup on it. In fact, I've thrown out ketchup that's 2 yrs old in my fridge because I never used it. Very rarely will I put it on french fries, and that's only if they're kinda cold, or soggy and I'm still hungry enough to want them.

Now mustard... THAT is a quality condiment.
