Default Lasered in VT

Got Lasered 5 times last weekend in VT. Radared 5 times in NH. 3 in Mass. 2 in NY for a total of 15 for one weekend trip. Bought Escort Laser shifter 4 years ago after getting slamed with a Laser ticket. Not sure it worked till this trip. Trooper had me dead to rights. Was east of Willmington, Vt on Rt. 9 heading East when I finally had a chance to pass 3 logging trucks in a passing Zone going down hill.
Well Trooper was hiding behind tree and poped out and fired at close range. Device went off and I slowed down quickly. (V1 did not sound a beep) He only had confused look on his face when I went by. I'd still be a guest of Vermont if this thing didn't work.
Does this get me my NE badge back??

There have been 5 fatalities on a stretch of Route 9 recently from trucks going too fast down the hill. Right now, while that is in people's minds, the cry is out for "justice" and "monitoring" of that stretch of road.

Very sad on the fatalities but so far all deaths have been caused by truck drivers who are going too fast. This is one of the best roads in VT especially the truck lanes going up the hill just east of Bennington.

I am hoping the scrutiny will blow over by end of summer. If not it will be another reason to move I guess.

Good to know about the laser tracking, it's only been regular radar bands until now. Will be a good test of my Escort Passport.

I guess I have to try and behave on my trip east this weekend Or at least try to follow another silly kid in a VW cabriolet who thinks they have they have S-like super-powers

Nick, this is probably a long shot but do you know what kind of laser gun it was?

I have stood near telephone poles before and parked my cruiser out of sight in a school zone. I find it is a waste of time though, because most people that are speeding are so oblivious to their surroundings that you can park the black and white in the middle of the road and they won;t see it.

Another favorite trick of mine is to park behind an empty parked car in plain view and put my rear flashing lights on so it looks like I have that car stopped.... Without fail, I always get someone who thinks "he's too busy already, now is my chance to speed by and piss a cop off" so they drive past me at about 20 over. I love the look on their face when I get these people.
