Default Looking for top boot cover.

I just thought I'd throw this out there in case anyone local has one of these that they don't want. I'm currently on the process of trying to piece together all the things that didn't come with my used S2000 and this is one of them. So if anyone has one for a reasonable price please let me know. Thanks.

I still have mine brand new in sealed plastic. What's the going price on this, $100? I am not sure... but if that sounds good to you, I'll sell it.

I'm not really sure, $100 doesn't sound too bad to me. They seems to go on ebay in that ballpark.

There is a recall on the seatbelt tensioners on the early S which requires a new top-boot.
Check with the local dealer, or do a search on here. You may be able to get one free under the recall from Honda like i am

Did you still have your old one when you got yours via recall? After signing up on the honda site, it listed that as a recall that hasn't been done on my car (but applies to my car). I read the procedure and they are supposed to swap the old one for a new one. I just assumed I was out of luck having none at all. How exactly is your situation being handled?

This why i said, Check with your local dealer!
My dealer is gracious enough to do the recall, even though i dont have the original boot that came with the car. My car was missing its top boot when i bought it and i explained this to the service person at my dealer. She said they are supposed to take your old one on a swap yes, but she checked with someone else (guessing her manager,in another room) then came back and said that the recall has to be done for safety reasons so, it doesnt matter that i dont have the old one because Honda was going to scrap it anyway.
Or perhaps i used some of my charm on her? (she was a beautiful blond with a short dress on and bare-legged)

But like i said, check with YOUR dealer. As not every Honda dealer seems to operate the same way it seems. Some dealers with warantee things for you. Others wont etc etc

Just let me know if you want it. It'll get sold w/ the car otherwise.

Well... I still may need it. It all depends on what the honda service dept. tells me.
