Counting calories works great and drinks tons of water.

You can try the Lemonade fast... you'll drop crazy weight and feel great afterwards... you just can't eat any solid food for 7-12 days. 10-12 days is ideal.

NO way in heck!

Fad diets, quick loss not the way to go. The weight + more usually comes back and it's hard on the body.

My friends have done it. I'm starting tomorrow.

This is not a fade diet. This has been around for years. The people I know that have done it have felt so much better after and have lost a fair amount of weight.

I'm doing to to slim down a little and because I rock climb but took up ice climbing(training for high altitude mountianeering) and wanted to lose a little wieght and get more energy.

You don't think that this is going to mess with someones metabolism? I would think buy not having taking in any proteins that your metabolism would start to slow (which isn't good). When you are "starving" yourself the body goes into a survival mode and store any energy it can (stored energy is know as FAT). Once you start to eat "normal" it will still try to store all the energy causing you to gain all that weight back.
All this stuff is a little foggy. I took two nutrition classes in collage. I'm no expert at this. Just a runner that reads a lot about nutrition.
