I was out there last weekend. I know a lot of good folks out there. I hope they are all ok.

Looks like getting around that area is going to be a mess for sometime to come.

Remember when the bridge on I-90 just west of Schnectedy (sp?) collapsed many years ago?

I get paranoid every time I drive over that bridge and go "phew" when I reach the other side.

I hope the fatalities from this are minimal.

I got that news this am. That is truly sad and maddening. Our roads and bridges and tunnels are falling appart.
We need city and state administrators to get off their duffs and realize that it is not saving money by not keeping up the maintanace of these public ways. Now it cost more to repair and we put our lives at stake using our roads.
Do not think I am not paranoid about running over a manhole cover, or driving on a bridge, or opting to drive around Boston to avoid the tunnels eventhough it would be a shorter ride.

WAKE UP, PEOPLE ARE DYING!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup. I guess we're building bridges there so we don't have to build them here.
