Garlic Anchovy encrusted steaks

the anchovy kind of just melts into the steak leaving a great flavor - i know the paste looks bad but remember anchovys are the base for most steak sauces

let's see what we have ready

one big hunk of steak

some anchovys

some capers

salt & pepper

and garlic

time to light the grill (i know i know it needs to be cleaned)

next i coated the steak with the anchovy/garlic mixture

and got my side dish ready (green giant cheese & veggie something)

oh and i put my cast iron pan on the stove with some olive oil and cranked the heat up to high to sear the steak
