Default Max, question for you!

right before putting my S into hibernation, i noticed a small chip (2-3mm in diameter) in the paint just below the driver's side door. but i looked as if it was not through the primer. so i figured i would take care of it come spring. well, i uncovered her yesterday and found that a tiny portion (the size of a head of a pin) of that chip is starting to rust. i've been told to have a body shop take care of it. what are you thoughts...what might be involved? and depending upon the size of the job, would you be interested if i could get out to your neck of the woods some how?
thanks max for your help.
jeff

I don't mind taking a ride one of these day and ventuer across the boarder. Now once it has rusted you have to paint it there is no question about that cause rust is like cancer if you can get it early you can get rid of it or something like that and you can probably keep it small sence it is on the rocked panel once the weather breaks i plan on going for a ride so maybe we'll hook up and check it out
