I think my S2000 has had the most work done to it(performance wise) in CT.
I'm the guy you want to talk to. Let me know here or via pm what kind of work you want done and I can let you know the places I've used.

Jenner, Thanks for getting back. I have a 2002 Silver with black interior. Thinking about supercharger, wheels, exhaust, etc. I live in Farmington and don't want to go all over the place or ship the car to New York or Virginia. Please help. Thanks.

I wanted the best shop on the East coast to install my supercharger, so I drove down to Evolution Autosports in VA. The only other shops I know of that have done them are Manchester Honda in CT and Adrenaline in Boston, MA. I don't have any first hand experiences with them but others here do.(I think mechagodzilla got his Vortech Supercharger installed at Adrenaline)
For exhaust, engine tuning, new gearing, LSD, fuel system and dyno tuning I use two shops:
Pruven Performance in Milford, CT(only for dyno tuning)
and J&M Motorsports in Manchester, CT(I know the owner here. Also it used to be called J&M Corvettes)
J&M could do the supercharger install as they are a Vortech distributor and know Vortech products very well, but they have only seen mine on my car, never installed one on a S2000.
For gauges, electrical, stereo etc, an installer @ Tweeter in North Haven is a very good friend of mine and also in the car scene. His nick name is "Jetta Jay" guess what kinda car he drives lol! A sleeper jetta with a HUGE turbo and intercooler in it. He also has a GTI. Anyways, he has worked on the stereo in my TT a few times, and I did the install of my two gauges/gauge pod, VAFC and turbo timer, but he did all of the soldering and taping into the wires of my ECU and electrical system. I don't think I plan to do a stereo in my S, but when I get my WRX STi to replace my TT he will be doing one in that
Most of my other work, regular service, oil/coolant/brake/tranny fluid changes, suspension, clutch work etc are never done by any dealer. I have a personal mechanic, Ken, in Branford who used to be the NSX tech @ Acura of Milford and is now the S2000 guy @ Brandfon Honda in Branford. He does everything on the side for me for a great price and he always does a great job. I can always hook you up with Ken if you don't mind the drive and his labor rate is far better than any of the "shops"
I also have a personal tuner(sounds like personal trainer lol!) who is dealing with all my fuel/boost/VAFC/dyno tuning. His name is Jeff Attwood and he is in Orange. He does car fuel tuning for a living and is an engineer so he knows his shit. Just the other day he got a civic with a turbo @ 19psi and a build engine to 333 front wheel hp @ Pruven. The car breaks the front tires loose @ 60mph on the highway in third gear!
The closest place for you to do anything would probably be J&M. You want to talk to the owner Mike. Mention "S2000" and "Jenner" and he will know exactly who I am and he should take care of all your needs.
As for wheels/tires, personally I just go with Tirerack as they are usually the best prices and they will ship to your door or to a local shop.
Most of the parts you want are best ordered over the internet for the best price. No one EVER stocks S2000 parts because they are too rare and $$$ usually. Even Evo doesn't stock much except sway bars and intakes.
My car is put away for the winter, but if you are planning on going Forced induction, you should check out my car in March '03, so you can get an idea of what is involved and what you get for your $
Sometime next spring/summer I will be installing a new pulley and larger fuel injectors which should take me from the 290 rear wheel horsepower I have now, to someplace between 325 and 350 at the rear wheels.
BTW I hope you have LOTS of money to spend to do a supercharger, "etc" Each mod leads to the need for another, supercharger, needs VAFC, VAFC needs dyno tuning, increase in hp/torque needs clutch, while doing clutch have to do flywheel(or at least resurface) after clutch need to strengthen rear end otherwise stuff will start to break, strengthened rear end plus more power needs sticker tires and suspension etc etc etc.
It is a downward spiral....you have been warned!
