I think when you look at the replays, Thomas had released him once he had the motion underway and well before he got him to the ground.
It was by no means a pile driver tackle.
and with respect to getting home at 2:15 AM, two thoughts come to mind.
The first is aren't you glad it was a 7:00 Pm start.
and the second is you're looking in the wrong place for sympathy, you rat bast...
