Moonlight Madness
Springfield, VT is holding their annual "Moonlight Madness" festival on Friday August 6th from 5pm-10pm.
Basically there will be live music, carnival-type food, a car show and some carnival rides.
I am planning on putting my car into the show (was in it last year). There are usually a lot of older cars like GTO's, tons of Vettes and even some newer mustangs/etc. It is advertised as a "classic carshow"; however they have always been open to anything and the S certainly counts as an import. I believe there are door prizes and trophies also.
Anyway, if anyone is interested please let me know. Stop by just to check out the festivities, or enter your car!

Just an update, this is coming up Friday night. I just received a flyer in the mail from the local vette museum about everyone getting together before the show and driving down together. If anyone is interested, please let me know - I can come up with some places to sleep if anyone wants to spend Friday night.
Well, we're having a little bit of a weather event here in the MRV, but I think that it's a hit or miss.
Hope that it misses you guys
We'll try next time.
PS Put in the 2004 radio door... bp cool silver .... cake walk

No, the event was not cancelled - perfect weather tonight (I was the only s2k
) Had a great time anyway, not a HUGE event but fun nonetheless.
Skimad - I'll have to check out the radio door. I've wanted to do the same to my car and was wondering how much of a pain it would be to swap.

I looked at some threads to figure out to do the swap, then I went about it differently. The only thing that I couldn't find is how to get the dam panel off which was the hardest thing. After that it was some tape to protect the old door just in case, tap the pins almost out, old door out, new door in, and tap the pins back in, panel on, done. Now that I did one the next would be a snap ... bad word ... a breeze. I wish that Carol had left the camera I would have posted a better "how-to" other than what I had found. If you get one I'll gladly help in anyway I can. Come on up we can change your door, and use it to update the "how-to", then ride Rt 17 and the Granville Gulf too.
Maybe we can get Josh and Casey
We'll have to add some food and drink in there somewhere. Now back to Zaino's, just starting the Z-18 clay, my own little prep day.
Hope to see you and Jenn soon,
Lou & Carol
