Default Need Advice for winter

Hey folks, quick question. How long do you drive your "s" with the stock tires? I hate thinking that I have to put her away soon and was wondering what benchmarks are used for your decision to put her away till spring. Thanks.

Below 50 drive slowly till tires warm up. Below 45 drive really slowly! Below 40 you have hockey pucks under your car for tires.

And if you hit snow or ice for any reason........YOU CAN'T TURN YOU CAN'T STOP YOU CAN'T START UP.........WELL I did one time driving home. Took 2-3times longer than usual and I was starting from a stop in 3rd gear anything above 3k tires would spin.

Put her away or get some snows when it starts to dip below 40

Rule of thumb for tires, is that once it starts to get below 45 degrees on a regular basis, get snow tires.
I am scheduled for a swap this Thursday November 1st. It is usually late October to early November when the temps start staying quite low.
Cold weather driving requires winter tires. The rubber compound is different and will provide proper traction in the cold temps.

If they are 17", do you think Thomas would separate from the wheels?
