Default need a clutch.

Hey guys. im from the Springfield mass area n was wondering if anyone knew of a good macanic.
and what clutch should i buy? i have a spec stage2 in right now but its slipping really really bad.
I want someone with experience with s2000 besides a Honda dealer. Charging me 1250 for labor then 789 for the clutch.
then need to also buy the flywheel for 330! i can't do that..

I can tell you from personal experience, Scott at Ballistic is GREAT. Quick and reliable service. PM me and I'll let you know what he charged me. I don't want to post it here because I don't know if he changed it or not. I bought an AP1 oem clutch for about 100 and a brand new ACT Pressure plate for under 300. Brought the car to Scott and he slapped them in. And he's done millions of S2000s.

My buddy will do it for a couple hundred bucks. He's in Vernon, CT (about 30min from Springfield) and did mine. I'm running a SPEC Stage 3+ clutch kit, AP1 Flywheel with Vortech S/C Kit and no issues, no slipping

Nope, he's a backyard mechanic. However he's meticulous and just about the only person I'd trust to work on my S.
