I know lainey would love to see all the pink flowers over there
I DO like pink flowers. Right now Rick and I are content with trips in the US of A, or spending some time on the road in the S.

Of course, we do have passports that have not yet expired.......

i think we have to actually meet you before we consider a cool group cruise

also i would venture to say that most here are into "driving" hence the reason for a trip to the autobahn (no speed limit) - we could also go to baden baden for a "spa" day BUT if we do - i would say that bathing suits will be required

This has been thought about and discussed!

Actually both a Europe trip and an Asia trip were being talked about... but that's all it is right now...

Who knows... could that be where the Nor'easter 2007 will be?!?!?

Info about driving your own car on the course:

I have rented numerous times from Sixt in both Germany and France , by far the cheapest and never a problem:

http://www.sixtusa.com/main/travel/holiday...cars_offers.php

I had a serious problem with Budget. I rented a car for 1 day in Luxembourg with the intent to drop it off in Brussels the same day but ended up droping it off in Paris the next morning. The rental fee for 1 day with a drop off in another country was supposed to be ~$230 , my credit card ended up getting charged a little over $600. They claimed I kept the car 2 days. After a lot of arguing it never got resolved even though I could prove what time I dropped the car off.
After a month of the charge being on hold the credit card company
started charging me fees so I just ended up paying it. I will never rent
from Budget again.

We should all attend the 2007 Tokyo motor show next year and storm the Honda booth.

If ever there was a chance that we'd find something out about the S2000 of the future, that'd be the time/place.

And, of course, we would have to rent red, German cars while in Tokyo.
