New car ideas?
Ok so my dad needs a new car for his company car and is looking at 2011 models things to keep in mind is he drives 40-50 k a year and keeps the car for 3 years he is a larger man so full so requirements are
full size
good mpg
good reasale value helpful
had to be over 18k not hard but just saying and under 45 but remember resale compared to orginal purchase is key resale will be in about 3 years with 120-130k miles
good in the snow so awd good selling point but not required by him more so from mom lol as he steals her g35x when it snows hahaha
Cars he is interested in is chevy impala, hyundai sonata (low cost and low maintence) and vw CC. I think he should test drive the accord and maxima and maybe the BMW 335 also but just wondering if any others I might have forgot about ????

Subaru Legacy or Honda Accord? The 335 will easily be over $45k with decent options. I personally hated the VW cc IMO. The Hyundai sonata is cheep, but the resale value is crap. US cars can be had for some good deals now, but again resale is nonexistent.
The Nissan Altima is a pretty nice car and fully loaded is in the low $30k high $20's. The Maxima is nicer/ bigger, but less fuel efficient.

if it's a company car why is resale important?? is it his company and if it's his company can't he just depreciate it?

Actually, resale up here? Subaru Legacy (3.6R Limited or Premium) or Outback. People don't think to give Subaru a try many times, but they have great build quality, comfort, and fantastic safety ratings. Add on AWD, and it's a win-win.
