CV loose? Not sure how to test. If I jack the car up (brake off) I cant wiggle the rear tire much. Testing the bearings more than the CV joint. Im my experience if a CV is bad it usually clicks. If you give me a shout what you want me to try will do.

Thanks Joe,
Well, I just compared my car with a co-worker's S. I just got under the car without jacking it, and try to move the CV/output shafts. His car had been sitting around for a while, so I was able to move the shaft along its axis (in and out of the diff). I was not able to move it radially (up and down/fwd and backwards). I did the same to my car (except it was warm from driving to his car). I was not able to move the shaft at all.
This is completely different than when the car was in the air at the shop. So my guess is that the car has to be unloaded to get that movement in the shafts. IF you have time or are already doing something in that area, give the output shaft a tug while it's in the air, and see if it moves.
Also, the shop techs gave the suspensions parts and main drive shaft a good tug, and nothing was noticed as loose or abnormal. The only thing was the cv/output shafts.
I really appreciate anything you can do. Thanks!
