I love the Fit, but it just doesn't hack it for a family car around here. I have to bear in mind that the next wagon is most likely gonna need to carry 2 car seats and lots of other junk. And AWD isn't a necessity, but having had it for the past 5 yrs, I really like it.

It's really nice today over my way... just got back from a jaunt to the bank... about 55 and sunny. I forgot all about the pain of dropping my taxes in the mail... well almost

I also detailed the Civic, finally. I don't think the poor car has been cleaned more than twice in the 18 months that I was not driving it full time. And I found a small rust spot I need to scuff and throw some paint on.

Strange it is starting on the passenger side; usually the drivers side gets rust first. Tomorrow both cars get an exterior wash, then I touch up the Civic's paint. And then maybe I will clean my house

Here's a neat read... Phil (s2legend) had his car repo'd... the metro community came together to raise nearly $2,000 for him to get his car back.

I guess he is a well known member there and just ran into some hard times.

Same here, I'm dying to get out as I know I will enjoy the ride home in the CRX-SiR...

Tonight I take the dremel tool to the other side of my car...

Well this spring I decided to try something new... I get all my parts from my local Honda dealer at an extremely good discount, but still, all in all, based upon the fact that I go through a set of rotors each year I was curious about what my aftermarket options were. After doing some reading up it seems lots of the huys in Racing and Campetition have been using, with good luck, the Centric Premium rotors, so I decided to give them a try, and while I was ordering, why not some new pads so the rotors get broken in properly.

Well, I have to say, when they showed up I was dumbfounded. From just looking, they are superior to the Honda OEM products, and were less money. I'm not exactly sure when I'll get these on, it may not be for my 4/28-4/29 SCDA school, but for sure it will be for my 5/9-5/11 BMW CCA school. All I can say, is I hope the black coating stays on, because if I could have non-rusting rotors I would be so thrilled. I just hate the rust that shows up where these are black, and with dark wheels the rust stain from the rotors looks lasty on the inner surface of my wheels.
