So I went to see Billman last night and his valve adjustment is probably the BEST MOD EVA! I thought the car was running fine, but now it runs like a raped ape!!!!!

the BIG post thread rule was just for outside the regions and written before everyone had broadband

can't belive you really locked the best / biggest thread in NE

this will be my last post in this thread until the other thread is reopened

seems Bill wants to now enforce some silly site rules that were written way before anyone had broadband

ok steve it has nothing to do with bandwidth.
it has everything to do with maintaining the link list data structures for that big a thread and the CPU overhead at the servers which affects everybody.
we all hate it when the servers get slow or go away.
if shortening the links helps what's the problem?

Yeah, maybe closing all the big threads will keep the servers running smooth and stop me from bitching about it.
