Noreaster Update
In case you haven't been watching, we have filled 73 driver spots. With +1s, this event will be well over 120 people. If you haven't signed up yet, please do so now. The hotel has very few rooms left. If you were planning to commute to the event, but you haven't signed up yet, we still need you to do so on a timely basis. We need to give a final count to the hotel for the dinner. While we have some flexibility, we cannot add 5 people at the last minute.
Now, for folks who are not signing up, but want to hang out, you are welcome to the car show and all the events at Cardinal Honda as a spectator of course. The number of drive groups is limited by the number of drive leaders. The size of drive groups is limited by saftey and organization concerns. We will not have oversize drive groups and Drive leaders are still needed. Due to saftey and organizational concerns, we need to plan ahead for the size of each drive group and cannot add non-registered cars to the drives. I am very sorry for this, but saftey is important and we know from experience that overly large drive groups are hard to keep together and folks are easily lost. It just isn't fair to the registrants. Please, if you want to participate in this great event, register now.
Sunday is the autocross. We can now open the autocross to folks who are not registered for the event. This will be on a first come, first serve basis. Noreaster Registrants will get first choice of run spots and first opportunity for any "fun runs", but otherwise, the cost will be the same. Please see the Noreaster forum for sign up information.
Glenn, if you or the other committee members disagree with any of this, please feel free to speak up here.

We've been planning this for over two years now... Serious planning started last October/November. New England has always commented that the other events are too far away... well here is the biggest event New England has ever had!
Thanks Bill for posting this!
