hey ya'll....i just got my Spa front lip(and wing) today....(uninstalled)...from quickly just putting it up to my car,,it kindaaa seemed like the shade of yellow was not same.(rear wing too, i did the same)..now, i dont know whether its just cause the lip is so newww and never been exposed out of the box before., or what....i wanna throw it on soo bad, but want to know the deal with this first......i Do have that 3m dealer-installed clear cover across the front bumper/mirrors..it wouldnt be a problem to have them do the lip AFTER i install it would it?....
Also, does the black weatherstripping on the lip show thatt much when installed?..any way to get rid of this,,or make it less noticeable (would rather not give it to a shop to do..but wana hear any suggestions)...let me know peoples....thanks in advance

the paint wont fade. All clear coated cars to day have great UV protection.

The 3M clear bra can change the color a little bit. But if you bought the spioler from the dealer that it will match good.

Remember the the yellow is a tri stage color and the peal in it will have a flop color change.

ok,,so does a new Spa yellow S change color a tiny bit in the begining..then just stay like that...(and will the lip gradually change its color to eventualy match the car u think? (any closeup pics of one with a lip..i wana see how noticable/bad the black weatherstrip on it looks...)

I got my clear bra on the front lip first before installing.

A local guy (Greg, at Coastal Tint - 203-877-8468) did it here in Milford right after I bought it (winter 2002-2003). I think I paid like $75 to do the lip but the whole car was like $525 for the whole kit www.clearshield.com installed. IMO, worth every penny!

Good Luck - George

but it really doesnt make a difference to do it before or after its on right?..thats not my concern,,as much as whether the color will hopefully end up matching the car..(it is a 2002 S, with only 4k on it now..)..u think it will take time then have the same shade or what?..
thanks george..
let me know
ANYONE ELSE?..pics.comments?..lol..please
