Default OK Steve...any Corned Beef tips?

Darlene is pressuring me to review all the S2Ki posts to see if there's a "Bass Corned Beef" recipie. I told her your position on the holiday is "screw the Irish" because you don't have your own drunken holiday. She reminded me that I told her that it's a holiday everyday somewhere in the world worth drinking to . She said that would help you get over it and share good CB recipie!

We have a ton of Irish bars here. I am heading out at lunch to get some CB. The bar I usualy go to, Billy's Cafe, ordered 800lbs of corned beef this year. Last year they only ordered 500lbs and ran out too early. I can taste it already!!!

Yes, a big juicy bbq'd steak, oh yeah thick and medium rare. CB is way too salty to be healthy.

Are you comparing the healthiness of big juicy BBQ steaks and corned beef?

Yep, but note only the sodium levels which are very bad for your heart. Plus I like the taste of a BBQ'd steak over brisket.

I can't wait to get the grill set up outside this spring. I eat grilled food 90% of the time in the summer. Can't beat the taste and its easier to clean up too.

You're missing the point.

More sodium = more thirsty
More thirsty = more beer
More beer = more happiness
More happiness = less stress
Less stress = less heart problems

See....it all works out
