Default OMG! Summer in April

Summer in April!

So we took a ride in the S today. We figured we'd hit Narragansett, RI, Point Judith and that area.

We could not believe the number of people who had the same idea we did. The parking lots were full at both beaches in Narragansett. We stopped at one Scarborough and did a bit of walking. Headed to Point Judith to the light house, could hardly get near the place. We did see several Lotus' parked there, and a ton of motorcycles.

Grabbed lunch at a decent place, and went to Charlestown where we were able to walk for a while. It was cooler there than at the other beaches.

Found this guy. I think it was dead. I put it back in a little pool of water, but he wasn't going anywhere.

Didn't know they were purple on the flip side.

From Charlestown, RI peace and quiet, nice place for a walk, and no sea of humanity.

Yeah, today it was even here. And I still didn't believe it could be THAT hot near the ocean and could have chosen more summer like clothing for our drive. We melted a bit while driving.

Wow, that water looks gorgeous!!! I hope I get to spend time at the beach again this summer.

It was 92 today in NY and NJ where we spent more of our 200 mile group drive!

I thought we'd see "some" people at the beach, walking or whatever. NEVER did I expect the masses of people and so many people in bathing suits and even going into the water.

RI has some really nice beaches.
