OMG! Summer in April
Thats one of the nicer ones. I grew up in Westerly so I know all them beaches.

You must have to get there really, really early on a summer weekend!
We have one nice beach, not far from our house. (Horseneck in Westport, MA) When we were beach bums, we'd try to be there no later than 10:30-11:00. We knew the back roads to the beach. Those folks driving on route 88S often were in traffic.
Sometimes they'd shut the beach down because there were no parking places left.

I think this year I maybe in the Bonnet Shores area. Depends on what we find for the summer rental. $$$ will be tight with the economy and a European vacation in August.
