Ok, so I know this is last minute, but heck I feel like doing it. Weds. is supposed to be a nice partly cloudy day in the mid to high 50's. If anyone is interested I've decide to take the day off and will be washing and detailing my car. It's open to any of you guys (since I don't really know any of you). All you need is your car, I will provide all wax and washing materials. My house is located about 20 minutes west of Hartford.

Of note: I just hit 3200 miles, when do you guys recommend changing your oil? The dealership said about 4k. Any specific brands?

6000 miles is a good point to change to Mobil 1. Porsche 'breaks in' their engines at the factory.

NO - DO NOT USE MOBIL ONE UNTIL YOU HAVE AT LEAST 10,000 MILES ON YOUR S...

for those that use Mobil one - what is your consuption rate between changes? I use dino oil and at most i use a quater of a quart between changes
