Default Ouch!

but I don't know if it happens more often than that. I've only had the car for 8 months, but I never thought this would actually happen:

On the way into work this morning on I-95, a pebble kicked up by the car in front of me ricocheted off of the side mirror housing and hit me in the bottom lip. Stung for a good hour, but at least it doesn't seem to have left a mark.

Windows up on the highway FTW

I have been hit with pebbles before but never in the face, always in the top or back of the head.

Yep, the car seems to be good. It seems to have been a small pebble, for which I'm grateful.

And I never read the flying burrito story.... but that one clearly wins!

Stay off of 95 the trucks are constantly throwing up rocks, I've lost 2 windshields (not on the S). Your lip will heal the S won't. Glad it wasn't serious to either you or the car.
