Nothing..I guess I used an incorrect smiley, regarding your post about admitting when you are wrong, thus my post made no sense.....

Sue me.

I did this too...

Shortly after Cubby installed my new speakers and tweeters, my window stopped working.
I called him up and asked if I could come by so he could take a look at what happened. He was ok with checking it out but advised me to check if I locked the window, which I did...

I felt kinda stupid... Im not the most mechanical with cars to begin with and this kinda solidified my status as a clueless car newb.

First time I did it was when I had to replace the door latch mechanism. Same deal, the door panel came off and when I put it all back, I had hit the lock-out switch, but of course figured that I didn't reconnect the passenger window switch correctly.

The more I think about the lock-out switch, the more stupid it is. I can understand locking out the passenger door window control so your kid cant keep screwing with the window, but why does it disable the switch on the driver's side too???

And why would you you need to disable the switch on a convertible? lol
