Default Passenger window failure

Passenger window crapped out in the down position. Great! I checked the fuse and that was ok. I'm thinking the water that poured in when I lowered the window in the rain may have had an impact. Anyway, is this a known issue? Right now I'm guessing the switch blew, but I don't know if there is some sort of solenoid that might be blown. Anyone go through this? (Reminds me of old British sports cars. grumble grumble).
