Is it possible?

Would be cool, but driving it, not many people would know what you've got under the hood anyways.

THAT WOULD BE
oh wait - no it isn't
really no one cares if you blew them away for no more than 48 seconds "wow he was fast" and then they head to 711 and get a slurpie and streat racing is just plan retarded
truthfully - do you care if others are faster than you, slower than you, better looking - no matter what there will always ALWAYS be someone faster

Sorry, this is one of the most silly ideas I've ever heard.
First of all, the VR4 already has a very potent engine/turbo setup that is very capable of adding more hp. It is about the only good thing going for this car. Its handicaps are its sub par chasis and pig-like weight. So what is the point of putting a 2JZ in this crap of a shell? It's like putting a Camaro engine in a Mustang.
Its engine is transversly mounted as Cubby said, and it is a AWD setup. It's not a sleeper in any way, shape, or form anyhow.

I agree with everything you just said

BEN!
I agree with everything you just said
BTW, I have a relative who did just what you said, only the other way around. He stuffed a 5.0 motor and tranny from a Mustang into an 88 (I think) Z28. Complete with 5.0 badging! He calls it "Mustaro" or "Camstang" which if said improperly can get you into trouble
I agree with everything you just said

That makes no sense at all. Why go that route when Chevy made a more powerful 350 that drops right in?
