Default Pro-Engineer

personal copy of Pro engineer wildfire 4.0

I saw this when I was looking at student licenses for my kid.

it's like a student license but you don't have to be a student.
You just can't use it for professional purposes.

Turns out They give it to high school kids for free , it just has a fewer features the this version.

5G to purchase for an engineer! Jerry is this worth the asking price for an engineer?

5G is a whole lotta cash to spend on a software program.

Pro-E kinda sucks IMO. Out of all the Cad software I've used in my lifetime, it's the most un-user friendly. I like Solidworks the best and Inventor second.

But, Pro-E is an industry standard (along with SW) so if you get yourself up to speed with it, it will open many doors for you.

Hell for the design tools I use, 5K is down in the noise.
I've had maintenance fees higher than that.

our design tools budget at the startup was $750K.

you can get sketchup from google for nothing but pro-e at $249 is short money for a real tool.
