I went there today to check if they can get the C-West kit for me. Not only did they beat every price I ever seen they garuanteed to have it delivered by January. I was impressed by this shop because the guy there knew of almost every Japanese brand and their products out there. I dunno if it was Andy I spoke to but everything I asked for he quoted me a very low price on, even light bulbs. He even gave me a heads-up on a new full titanium exhaust coming out for our car. He says he used to work for Auto Design Haus so he has contacts in Japan to get almost anything. Before coming here, I swore I'd never buy from a local shop, (especially T3 Motorsports in Jamaica Plain) and thought I'd buy strictly from the board sponsors. Maybe if I can convince him to become a board sponsor or something like that and do some group buys.

So...what did you get for advertising for them? j/k
Btw, do you know what happened to Auto Haus? They seem to have disappeared from their prime Allston/Brighton location -- not that I really care...they are the biggest ripoff artist in Boston.
Anyway, sounds like Pro-Spec is worth checking out.

This guy said that after he left Auto Design Haus they moved to where Boston Performance Group is/was. 18 Fordham St. in Brighton. I only been to Auto Design Haus once in my life to buy bulbs. When I went in, no one greeted me until fifteen minutes later, they were all sitting around reading magazines. Then when someone actually cared and tried to sell me something they sold me the bulbs, they sold them to me for $50. I could've got those elsewhere for $20 but I was in a rush. So, I got horrible service and horrible pricing, never went back. Could be that it was an isolated case. They might be ok but I never gave them another chance. The thing with Auto Design Haus and RPM Motorsports is they like to deal with European cars. I understand that because they make more money out of it, but this means they haven't been contacting their Japanese suppliers as much.
I can write a book about how much T3 Motorsports in Jamaica Plain sucks but I'm not going to...but I will give you a little input.
T3 Motorsports sucks because;
1) They installed an exhaust on my friend's Supra and busted his 02 sensor. Told him that's normal. My friend had to go to the dealer and have it fixed for $200.
2) They sold my friend a whole bunch of things for his Civic Si and once all the installation was done, they stole his car. Saw his parts on a different car, asked them where they got it, T3, of course. They sold side skirts to another one of my friends. These skirts were obviously stolen because they were painted and they looked like the have been ripped off.
3) T3 told me that one of their customer asked them about lowering springs for his CLK. They told him he can buy new spirngs or cut his stock ones for cheaper. Told him cutting his springs would be fine knowing he would be dissatisfied and would come back to get lowering springs afterwards.
4) Tony at T3 is always swearing at his customers. But doesn't know shit. Told me his 15 second car was faster than my S2000.
That's it on T3 for now...
Other shops I know of? hmmm...
There is one in Marblehead called Prime Speed. They deal mostly with Rx-7's, Supra's, and 300ZX's. Seen their work, very impressive. Two brothers working out of a really small shop, single garage, no showroom at all, well one the size of a closet. One owns a Supra and the other owns a Rx-7, which I have seen spitting fire on 93.
KTA Motorsports in Randolph went out of business I think.
There is a new shop called S.P.A. Racing in Malden. I don't know much about them but I see their stickers all over the place on 1990 or older farty Civics and Accords with huge RPM meters on their dash.
Auto Customs in Quincy. Other than saying they don't know shit I will make no more comments because my cousin and I have beef with them.
Those are all of the shops I know of in the Boston area.

Yeah, I know all about Tony, Joe and his goons at T3...I am not happy w/ their services either...long story. So he told you his 330 is faster, huh? Haha...but of course, he paid more for his car.
Harry at AHD is just as bad. He tried to rip me off the second I stepped through the door...
The Boston Performance Group gang was pretty cool - they are very knowledgable on Bimmers and friedly too. But I heard rumors they weren't doing so well financially. I guess AHD moved there to save on rent; I can't imagine how much their hot spot was costing them each month.

Derrick - Yea they beat almost every price I gave them even though most of the prices I gave them were bullshit. He quoted me 1750 for 18" Volk Racing GT-P but he can probably do better. I think R&D Motorsports quoted me 1715 plus shipping. He gave me a price on the C-West kit that was cheaper than Motorex, the US distributor for C-West. He's not getting it through Motorex, but instead he asked 5Zigen to put it on their container for him so he can get it before Motorex can and for cheaper too. He has no minimum that he has to buy. He told me Motorex has to buy 30 kits before C-West would ship them any so that's why it takes so long.
Ben - Tony told me his smurf blue Civic HB was faster than my car. The thing had 15.1 second ET chalked on the windshield still. What an idiot. And of course if you ask him for a product he yells at you and tell you that shit sucks and suggests some crappy brands like Ractive or something like that. Tony drives a 330 now? I think I should open up a shop and screw everyone over, maybe I'll end up with a BMW too.

For the HB Civic, type R engine, Turbo, and NOS, will be enough to kill a S2000..in the straight line but, if Tony dyno his car or run his car at 15.1 sec @1/4 miles... then, oh, well..!!
