Default Pulled over for no plate?

I'm thinking of removing my hideous front pate. Have any of you Mass drivers been pulled over or ticketed for no front plate in MA? Also, do you know if the violation carries points?
thanks

Yes you can get pulled over for no front plate. I believe it is a $35 fine and will not show on your insurance because it is not considered a moving violation. I took mine off, worth the risk to me.

you guys get off easy it's 50$ in RI and the state troopers are relentless about handing out tickets, I got 4 in just the last year so instead of butting the normal boring plate on I decided that the car needed vanity plates. Now I don't mined having a front plate.. just an option

Yup I know how that feels, I must have gotten 4 on my Delsol, the first one you say to the hell with it what's 50 dollars. Then the second, its like ok they won't get me again. Then the third and forth time your just pissed. And throw on the plates. I won't even touch my front plate now. Its staying on and not coming off.

Glen's plate mod looks like it's got serious airflow issues. I think I'll take my chances with no plate at all. Besides looking better, it makes the car significantly harder to pick up on laser & radar.

I'll toss my two cents in here

I drive with my front plate on because I don't want to give the cops a reason to pull me over. It's only a personal decision. There is a more detailed reason why I have the front plate on
