I bought my car brand new last Thanksgiving and put 772 miles on it before storing for 6 months. I've driven it very little this summer and it looks like I'll only have just over 4000 miles on it before it needs to go back in storage this year for another 6 months. It still has the break-in oil in the engine.
Should I:
a. Change the break-in oil out before I put it away in storage?
b. Change the break-in oil out when I take it out of storage in 6 months?
c. Keep the break-in oil in after I take it out of storage and drive it until I hit at least 5000 miles?
d. None of the above...I have a better idea!
I think you should go with Legal Bill's recomendation when you asked this last year. I think it had something to do with boiling the oil on the stove and putting it back in
If I were you, I would just set aside a few days before you put her up for the winter and go on a road trip. I put on just over 1300 miles driving last weekend. Then you get to have fun and a proper oil change to boot.

Remember to use your wife's best pot!
Seriously Josh, I'd put on as many miles as you can over the next few weeks and then change that stuff out
there have been millions of threads regarding this super secret oil and you'll never get a honest answer - get 5k and change it to dino oil and then at 10k sawp to mobil 1 and you'll be fine (heck it's a honda most run without oil )
I would keep it in there for the 5000 at least. I bought my 2002 on 12/31 of that year. I stored it in the garage (no oil change). Drove it all year then changed it around 6500 before putting it away for the season. So it had about a year and a half of oil life in the engine.
Car runs strong. Dyno day a few years ago proved it. I had intake and exhaust and managed a HP - 211.267 @8542rpm while the other while the other MY02 stock HP:197.28@8527 & HP:197.99@8579 respectively.
But this is all unscientific stuff. I would take a sample of the oil and send it out for analysis. $40 buys you a lot of piece of mind.
ELSE, Just put another 1000 miles and then change the oil. The weather has been amazing this year. Can you believe the temps and its supposed to be November next week. The damn deer don't even want to come out and play too busy sunning themselves.
