there have been millions of threads regarding this super secret oil and you'll never get a honest answer - get 5k and change it to dino oil and then at 10k sawp to mobil 1 and you'll be fine (heck it's a honda most run without oil )
What's dino oil, how much is it, and where do I get it?

Thanks!

dino = dinosaur = fossil fuel = non synthetic oil (ie NOT mobil one)

and you can pretty much get it anywhere but it

Here we go. Turning a discussion about break in oil into a political thread

I have read that dino oil allows the engine to further break in than switching to synth would. Around 10k miles, the engine is as broken in as it should be, and you can switch to the synth.

What's really funny is that you bleeding heart guys are against the salvation army or other charities collecting money because it somehow infringes on your right not to be bothered. On the other hand, I am a conservative MFer and pretty much always give at least something to the people collecting for legit causes.

Sounds a lot like captain environment Gore and his not so eco freindly home. Go figure.

I'd respond, but I don't talk politics on this board anymore.

I just stir stuff up.
