Exactly what I was going to post. She was a train wreck, her life was as well. Americans LOVE train wrecks.
I was a bit surprised to see it all over the news. A mention I expected but that was overkill. Let Inside Edition and shows like that handle the trash news.

I agree that women were more interested in her than men. Not for her assets per se, but because she was drama personified. Women love drama. My wife watched that show for quite a while just to see the stupid things she would say and do. I think girls like this stuff for the same reason they watch soaps, whatever that reason is

women are very wierd!!

lauren would do the same thing with the simple life show with paris hilton and also with the newly weds show with jessica simpson and nick lachey... i dont get it

Yup, my wife was glued to all of those shows. I suppose she thinks it strange that I watch documentaries on WW2, so I guess we break even. My wife calls me from work when she hears gossip about one of her co-workers catching their boyfriend cheating or something juicy like that. Then, she will be talking about it for days. Guys are just the opposite. If I hear about something like that I could 1) care less and 2) not want to talk about it.
