Had an early night at the bar thanks to the &*(^&*%^& weather. We have 3" already and still snowing.

So I had to come home and drink alone

I expected to see some crazier posts when I got back! Steve, how are the vodka and bailey's going?

I wish I was 4 beers wasn't enough to make me feel any better. I think they just made me more depressed.

Sometimes you need hard liquor to really solve problems Or at least get to a point where you no longer care. Or even to just pass out Maybe you can make me some of those drinks next time I visit the east coast

 

Ellen, drinking doesn't fix things. but you know that. My mother used to say "You need to change your mind around." Or something like that. Go out and shovel some snow. The fresh air and exercise will make you feel better.

 

I know it doesn't solve anything I was just hoping for a good night's sleep which I did not get - again.

Your mom was right. There was a really good song a few years ago:
If you want to be somebody else, change your mind.

I know all this stuff, but my mind just can't process it yet.

If I were armed, there'd be one less plow driver out there. 4:30AM he started making passes in the parking lot. LOUD passes. Under my bedroom window.

Looks like the snow is winding down here, maybe 7" on the ground.

I can sympathize, I think the plow trucks went by my window at 5 AM this morning. I was already awake though

I don't think we got anywhere near that much here... just 3-4 tops. Still coming down but really lightly.

 

So does the snow screw up any plans you had for the weekend? I HATE it when that happens.

We had MAYBE and inch or snow of snow....all gone now!

figure i'll make some individual shrimp cocktails with some kicked up home made cocktail sauce BAM!!!

and then i'm gonna make a bunch of twice baked that can be re-heated later

figure now is as good of time than any to have a nice makers too
