I've been out looking for "stuff" to go in the TV room after it's repainted. Still no rug. Got sidetracked and took both grandkids out to lunch. My son was not feeling well and hoping to go to work later, so I gave him a break and took the kids.

Now, I've got to pick up around the house, before the family shows up. Hope no one gives the house a "white glove" test. The dust bunnies have to stay another day.

Bass, are those the same potatoes you made a couple of weeks ago? They looked great!

Close - these ones will be ham and swiss filled - they are great - you can make them ahead of time and keep them in the freezer forever and just re-heat when you're ready

No snow on the coast - just flurries last night - woke up to rain and temps in the upper 30's.

So does the snow screw up any plans you had for the weekend? I HATE it when that happens.

We had MAYBE and inch or snow of snow....all gone now!
Nope. The roads (even the parking lot here) are almost dry now. Clear sailing!

I wanted to share something (besides beer) that DOES actually make you feel better

Anything from Head Chef (Dave) pretty much Dave knew I was feeling sad today so he brought me some goodies to the NY lunch meet today...

He calls it "Banana coffee cake with chocolate chip walnut streusel" a cookie like concoction that was covered with chocolate chips, walnuts and had a touch of cinnamon...

I don't even want to think about the number of calories but other than consuming the entire thing I did very well today with not eating too much In any case, when you are severely depressed I don't think calories count, or some excuse like that

Anyway it definitely improved my mood even if only temporarily (as did seeing the NY gang and meeting some new people). I highly recommend anyone who is able to attend the "Grilled Cheese Meet" that will end up over at Dave's restaurant... he is a wizard in the kitchen

Mike set a grilled cheese date!

Broke the snowmobile today. Slammed some deep hole and broke the nut off the end of the control arm. No steering = bad end to the day

Sorry Mike I can imagine bad steering could lead to some bad things!

On the up side, it's not going to be winter much longer

Yea I found out I could not steer as it went off the trail despite my attempts to straighten it out.

Yeah! George set the Mohawk date for 5/24

Probably the best present I am going to get... oh, except for track day 5/27

You are wide open for setting grilled cheese. Dave mentioned you had contacted him about some possible dates!

Let me know what I can do to help.
